Unveiling the Trump National Tennis Center

Serena Williams attended the grand opening fête at Trump National Golf Club Washington, D.C.

From Ivanka: This has been a month of big events for my family at the Trump Organization. We celebrated the opening of Trump Golf Links Ferry Point at the beginning of April, and now, I’m equally excited to announce the unveiling of the National Tennis Center at Trump National Golf Club Washington, D.C. This project was led by my brother, Eric, alongside my father, and it has been executed beautifully. No expense was spared in creating this center. Having seen it at various phases throughout its development, I will concede to my brother that it certainly does, as he’s said, exceed expectations.

We officially opened the center a few weeks ago with the support of tennis legend Serena Williams. Serena is a champion of the sport, a world-class athlete and a fashion icon (have you seen her on the cover of April’s Vogue? She’s amazing). To have her endorsement of this incredible facility is an honor. Talk about a great example of a woman who works!

The Tennis Performance Center has already been called the finest tennis center in the country, if not the world—which is both high praise and well deserved. Serena actually said that it’s the nicest center she’s ever seen! It’s the first of its kind, with five state-of-the-art courts, indirect LED lighting and an advanced climate system, creating the perfect temperature for year-round play. My favorite part is that each court is wired with high-definition cameras, which provide members with the ability to record and analyze every match or lesson played. I’ll look forward to having proof of me trouncing my brothers on the court ;)

The Trump National Golf Club Washington, D.C. has always been a spectacular place. It sits on 600 acres with breathtaking views of the Potomac River. The addition of the Tennis Center really adds something special to this property and I’m looking forward to many future visits.
